It’s Photo Walk Time!
We will be meeting on the first Sunday of the month. Bring any camera you like, and be prepared to wander and shoot for up to an hour.
EBPCO’s bimonthly photo walks are a great way to connect with other photographers while exploring and photographing an interesting Oakland location.
Our photo walks are free and OPEN TO ALL! Bring your camera(s) and your creativity. All cameras welcome, including phones.
Please join us at Telegraph Beer Garden for a low-key gathering. This is a chance to mingle and meet some fellow photographers, and talk about photography, or whatever else strikes our fancy!

For those with previous experience with black & white film processing and printing but have been away from it for some time. Get a hands-on a refresher to these procedures.
Learn to manipulate and transfer Polaroid film onto paper or glass, create collages out of polaroids, and safely experiment with everyday chemicals found in the pantry to create unconventional polaroid images.
We’re partnering with local roaster Rasa Caffe for this workshop, where participants will learn to process film with homemade Caffenol developer made from coffee. Includes a delicious cup of coffee from Rasa Caffe!

Momentum is a photography exhibition that captures the beauty, energy, and emotion of movement through diverse scenes and subjects. This collection invites viewers to explore movement as a universal thread woven into nature, cities, and daily life. Featuring striking moments frozen in time and sweeping motion blurs, the exhibition presents scenes from dynamic urban streets and tranquil landscapes, as well as intimate portraits and the lively rhythms of wildlife.
Each image tells a unique story of life in motion—whether it’s the rush of wind through trees, the pulse of city streets, or the expressive gestures of human and animal subjects. With contrasts between sharp, suspended action and ethereal, flowing blurs, Momentum encapsulates the endless ways in which movement shapes our experiences and emotions. This exhibition invites viewers to pause, reflect, and see the world through the lens of motion—a force that connects and drives all of us.
This exhibition is guest curated by Malcolm Wallace and features work from 36 artists in our gallery exhibition and an additional 11 artists online.
Exhibition now extended through January 26th!
